Solaguayre Holstein breeding in Argentina

Haras Solaguayre specializes in breeding and training sport horses for jumping and Dressage.
Our goal is to pruduce the best horses for sport with a long useful life, healthy, modern type, nice rideability. Promoting long term relationship with clients, based on trust and honesty.

To obtain this our premises are:

1. Be good people, honest, professional and commited to the project, with love and passion for horses for all the stages of the activity.
2. Genetics, strict selection of mares and stallions using Holsteiner bloodlines.
3. Appropriate facilities for the bred and training of horses. like paddocks, stalls and good floors for training.
4. Exploit genetics to the maximum with good nutrition and health, begining with the pergnancy with permanent professional care.
5. Intensive care to achieve docile and healthy animals, personalized handling. 

Our horses are registered as Argentine Warmblood in AAFE (Argentine Association for Equine Development) The breeding program is based on Holstein breeding guidelines, convinced that is one of the most successful breeding system in the world.

We look for excelence, for that we take care of all the items of the process, we breed our horses with the permanent attention of our staff, with continuos veterinary supervision, with good grass, seasonal greens and supplements , which guarantees the sanity and meekness of our horses

At 2 years old they begun the personalized training, begining with longe work according to european methods, then free jump training, the breaking up and at 4 years old they begun their first sport steps in our training center at Los Cardales.

As we use Holstein genetics, we imported mares with modern bloodlines and frozen seemen from approved stallions of the Holsteiner Verband

We beleive that the exit of the breeding is based on the strict selections of the mares, that is why most of the imported mares are in sport and we use them in reproduction Throug embryo transfer method using frozen seemen, This allows us to make a very important leap in the quality of our foals, because we can have more foals of our best mares.
