At Haras Solaguayre, we specialize in breeding and training high-performance sport horses for Show Jumping and Dressage.
Our main goal is to produce the best horses for the sport: modern, healthy, and docile animals with a long, successful career. We foster long-term relationships with our clients, always built on trust and honesty.
Our Core Pillars To achieve excellence in each of our horses, our work is based on five key premises:
Human Team: We have honest and highly committed professionals guided by love and passion for horses at every stage of the process.
Elite Genetics: We perform a strict selection of mares and stallions, exclusively using modern Holsteiner bloodlines.
Top-Tier Facilities: We have spaces specifically designed for equine welfare and training, including pens and stalls with appropriate flooring to ensure optimal physical development.
Nutrition and Health: We maximize our horses' genetic potential through select pastures, seasonal grazing, and supplements. We ensure their health from pregnancy with continuous veterinary care.
Personalized Care: We provide intensive, hands-on management to raise well-balanced animals, standing out for their soundness and absolute docility.
Our Breeding Program Our horses are registered as Silla Argentino with the AAFE (Argentine Equine Fostering Association). Our breeding program strictly follows Holstein guidelines, as we are convinced it is one of the most successful systems worldwide.
We firmly believe that breeding success lies in the strict selection of mares. Therefore, we import mares with modern bloodlines that are currently competing in the sport. We reproduce them through embryo transfer, preferably using frozen semen from stallions approved by the Holsteiner Verband. This technology allows us to multiply the offspring of our best mares and make an invaluable qualitative leap in our products.
Developing a Champion We take care of every link in the process. At 2 years of age, our young horses begin a personalized training plan. We start with lungeing following European methods and free jumping practices. Later, we move on to careful breaking so that, at 4 years old, they can start their sporting career at our Training Center located in Los Cardales.
