Padre : ALME

ALME, nacido en 1966 continua destacandose en los últimos tiempos fundamentalmente por sus hijos Animo padre de Robin Hood W y Ranino, de Joyau d´Or , de Alme Star, como abuelo materno de Seldana di Campalto y en los grandes padrillos Jalisco , Quidam de Revel , Ahorn Z y Galoubet considerado su mejor hijo Campeón del Mundo por equipos con Gilles Betran de Balanda. Galoubet ha sido padre del gran padrillo Baloubet du Rouet (madre por Starter) y de Quick Star (madre por Nithatd). Su padre Ibrahim era el padrillo más famoso en el Stud Saint LO´ en los años 60 y 70. Tuvo más de 30 padrillos y decenas de ganadores internacionales. La cría de Ibrahim con las hijas del Ultimate también pura sangre produjeron excelentes caballos, ALME es el mejor ejemplo, entre otros como: DIGNE ESPOIR (KIBRAHIM), DOUBLE ESPOIR, ELF III, QUASTOR, DYNAMIQUE, UKASE, TANAEL, COR DE CHASSE in France, FANTASTIQUE, HEDJAZ in Belgium, VIVEUR, QUE D'ESPOIR (Switzerland) ALME con 3 años ya destaca como semental en Saint LO´. Comienza su carrera deportiva con el franco americano Fred Graham. Hasta 1975 tiene más de 500 hijos bien considerados en Francia.

En 1974 nacen unos hijos de ALME memorables como el gran Jalisco , cuya madre era Tanagra hija del mejor purasangre para deporte de todos los tiempos Furioso ; Joyau d´Or (madre por Vin d´ Honneur, que era de ascendencia de Orange Peel xx), oli­mpico en Los Angeles; I Love You (madre por Nykio), ganador de la Final de la Copa del Mundo en 1983 y 2do en 1984 con el estadounidense Norman Dello Joio.

A los 8 años pasa a Zangersheide de Leon Melchior y se convierte en el gran semental de la Z. Son muchi­simos los productos renombrados que de el hay en Belgica, pero la más conocida es Ratina , que si bien su padre era Ramiro , su madre Argentina provenía de ALME . Aerobic (madre por Gothard), finalista de la Copa del Mundo; Zalme , oli­mpico en Seul, donde también lo fue Jalisco ; Ahorn Z, hijo de Heureka la segunda madre de Ratina, Aloube (madre por Gothard); Athlet (madre por Gothard); Alesix , cuya madre era la internacional Whone. En holsteiner posiblemente el más importante sea Acord II , hijo de Ahorn Z .
En Holanda, como hijo de ALME tenemos al más que reconocido Animo , madre por Amor que fue el progenitor entre otros de Akteur y de Zuidpool (padre de Tinka´s Boy ).

Abuelo paterno : IBRAHIM

Ibrahim was a prolific Thoroughbred stallion, who now has progeny competing at the highest level of show jumping.

Ibrahim was purchased for 500 francs by the horse dealer Alfred Lefevre at a local show, from the horse's breeder, René Haize. In 1956, the young horse was champion of his age group, and was sold to the State Stud. He bred at the stud from 1956 to 1973, and was the most famous horse there in the 60's and 70's. However, his breeding career began slow, and he covered Normandy Draught mares for his first few years at stud, with very few sport horse mares booking. Ibrahim's first crop of foals were sold abroad. In 1957, he produced the mare Norvale. She produced several foals, before competing internationally with Jean-Michael Gaud. Ibrahim's other progeny also began showing up at the international level: horses such as Petit Prince C and Quo Vadie. However, it was not until Tango C, a talented show jumper, began his competition career, that bookings to Ibrahim took off. From only a few bookings in 1966, he began by averaging 25 mares a year, before booking a record 54 mares 1969. Ibrahim's progeny were exceptional at Fontainebleau in 1970, with Alcazar D, Aurore C, Azimut, Arteban and Almé Z overshadowing all others in the jumping finals, and the five year old mare Val de Loire B winning the jumping class for her age group. A popular breeding cross was with Ibrahim to daughters of Ultimate, a Thoroughbred. This produced some of the greatest offspring, including Almé Z. Ibrahim still has a great influence, with 15 of 20 stallions who had produced 3 or more horses at the six year old finals at Fontainebleau having Ibrahim in their pedigree. Ibrahim's influence is still strong. At the 2003 Cycle Classique finals, held in Fontainebleau, there were 112 double clears out of the 219 four-year-old that competed. Only eight stallions sired more than one horse that had a double clear: Urbain du Monnai (6); Apache d'Adriers (5), Cacao Courcelle (3), Drakkar des Huittins (3), French Cancan (3), Papillon Rouge (3), Rox de la Touche (3). All eight stallions descended from Ibrahim.

2da Madre: TANAGRA

Nacida en 1963 en Francia, hija de Furioso y de Delicieuse (por Jus de Pomme y Tapissiere), fue la madre de Jalisco B. De Furioso hijo de Precipitation ( Hurry On x Bachelor's Double ) y Maureen ( Son In Law x Friar Marcus ). La calidad y el talento de este fenómeno de la reproducción fue sin duda parte primordial de la transmisión genética de Tanagra. Delicieuse ( 1947 ), esta yegua era una hija de Jus de Pomme ( Orange Peel x Karikal ) y Tappisiere. La descendencia de Tanagra es muy amplia. Sus principales hijos son:

• En 1969, tuvo a un excepcional caballo, Danoso . Este caballo fue un hijo del pura sangre Night and Day que con el jinete francés Michel Constant ,estuvo sexto en el Campeonato de Europa de 1977 y corrió el Campeonato del Mundo de Aachen 78, gano el Gran Premio Internacional de Barcelona de 1978.
• Geisha N , propia hermana de Danoso, fue madre del importante semental Kissovo ( Starter y Geisha N ), fue madre del gran caballo Ephebe For Ever , un hijo de Galoubet A, que ganó cuatro Copas de Naciones ( Dublín-2, Roma y St.Gall ) y que todavía está en activo.
• Jalisco , en 1975, con Almé, un pilar de la cria francesa, padre entre otros de Quidam de Revel, Quito de Baussy, Dollar du Murier, etc.
• Quanagra , en 1982 con Galoubet A, tuvo 16 productos, entre los que encontramos a Baladin du Tillard , a Cabdula du Tillard ( ganador en internacional y padre de importantes caballos como Iman du Rozel ) o a Viking du Tillard , caballo olímpico en el 96 con Hervé Godignon.

Excepcional producción la de Tanagra. Danoso , Geisha N, Jalisco B y Quanagra componen un cuarteto total en su descendencia.
