Larimar (Lavall II x Lord) En la aprobación de padrillos de Neumünster, Larimar atrajo la atención debido a su correcta conformación y sus muy buenos movimientos. Su galope en particular fue calificado como excepcional. También se destacó por su salto controlado y amplio.

Su padre Lavall II produjo una serie de buenos caballos de competición: Lady Orion con Andre Sakakini (Egipto), Kassandra con Rolf-G�ran Bengtsson (Suecia), Landru con Emilio Bicocchi (Italia), Lucky Boy con Marcus Ehning y Suncal's King con Joie Gattin (Estados Unidos).

La línea de sangre de Larimar está muy influenciad por padrillos Pura sangre. La madre de Larimar, Elastic Dream, así como su segunda madre, Hanka, son yeguas premium . A los 2 y 3 años, Elastic Dream fue el campeón indiscutible en el concurso de yeguas de élite en Elmshorn. A los 7 y 8 años, Eva Bitter la mostró con éxito en los concursos de salto. Larimar fue aprobado en Schlieckau. Terminó con un índice general de 127.28 (5to). En el transcurso de la prueba, los jueces calificaron su salto libre 10.0 y salto en pista 9.5. Después de muchos éxitos en el nivel M, Thomas Voss se subió a Larimar en 2011 y logró colocarse en el nivel M **.

Profile Carvallo completed his stallion approval in December 1998 in Medingen, Germany, scoring 137.71 points, the hightest jumper index of all tested stallions, with a 10 in jumping potential.

From 1999 until 2001 Carvallo was used as a breeding stallion for the Holsteiner Verand. In 2002, ridden by Carsten Otto Nagel and Rolf Goeran Bengtsson, he had many good placings in young horse classes at CSI's in Europe. In 2003 and 2004 he won and placed in several 1.50m National Grand Prix classes in Germany. He came to the US in the summer of 2004, winning good ribbons at 'A' rated shows in the Northeast with rider Carsten Jaeger.

Carvallo is approved for breeding by AHHA and the Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes.

Lineage Carvallo's sire, Capitol I son Carthago, was successful with Jos Lansink in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. His dam, the Lavall II daughter Flowerstar, stem 7308, was in the final round of the Young Horse World Championships in Lanaken, Belgium as a 7 yr. old.

Carvallo's 2nd dam sire, Caletto II was the sire of Classic Touch, an Olympic Champion, but is much better known as the damsire of many successful show jumpers and Holsteiner stallions, for example Cento and Cassini I.

Offspring

Carvallo's offspring show exceptional quality. In 2002, son Caricello was approved as a Holsteiner Verband breeding stallion. In 2004 five Carvallo daughters were entered into the main mare book with premium status at the elite mare approvals. Son Chesapeake was approved as an AHHA preliminary stallion.

Carvallo passes on a high degree of elasticity, jumping ability and athleticism to his progency. This ability, combined with his success as a competitior, places him among the finest modern sport horse stallions.
