Nacio en 1986, fue el ganador de la aprobacion de padrillos en Holstein de 1988 en Neumuenster, en 1989 hizo la prueba de los 100 dias con un indice de salto de 117,25 y una calificacion de 9877789, pertenece a la famila holstein 4847, tiene 335 yeguas madres registradas, 58 de ellas State Premium.  Desde el punto de vista de la cria se convirtio en uno de los mejores hijos de Landgraf, transmite a sus hijos, su calidad y habilidad para el salto. Entre sus hijos de destaca Lazio campeĆ³n alemĆ”n en 2005 (Bundeschampion), Lagran quien participĆ³ en el campeonato mundial en Kentucky

En el aƱo 2010, 115 hijos de Lancer II fueron exitosos en competiciones de salto de grupo I y II(S) y 18 se clasificaron en reprises de nivel San Jorge para arriba.

Stamm 8145 Ahorn Z was a large framed bay stallion with good presence and top-line. He had a beautiful face and slim riding horse neck. Good shoulder, wither, croup connection. A good mover and great jumper through a tight front end. He became an international jumping legend with the Dutch team competing in many World Cups and Grand Prix . He was approved by most German breeding registries and sired among others the famous Acord brothers, Acord I, Acord II, and Acord III. His offspring are often of his type and size. They have beautiful haunches and are good movers that show great jumping ability. Ahorn Z transmits courage, determined character and sincere force and structure without removing class. Ahorn Z is full brother to the dam of Ratina Z (Ludger Beerbaum)
